Hey guys, like many of you I'm studying for the P1 exam this summer.  Thus far I've been using Ross' Introduction to Probability textbook.  Unfortunately, I've read this actually isn't the greatest book to use due to its focus on theory as opposed to practical applications.  I've decided to get "Probability for Risk Management; Second Edition".  I was wondering if anyone is using this book, or if not, what are you using?

Thanks in advance Smile

Hey Josh,

Most people use the ASM Manual, or P/1 ACTEX study manual. Although they cannot be found online (have to purchase em Study Materials Icon_sad ), your current textbooks will work fine in terms of specific topics. Just make sure you follow the syllabus here:

Once I finish setting up the P/1 Package, it can cover your costs. So don't buy any materials yet.
